바이올리니스트 박주연은 제1기 웅진재단 장학생으로 선발되었으며, 문화체육관광부 예술캠프 영재로도 뽑히며 일찍이 음악적 재능을 인정받았다. 예원학교와 서울예술고등학교를 거쳐 서울대학교 음악대학에서 학사 과정을 마친 후, 파리국립고등음악원(CNSMDP)에 만장일치 1등으로 입학하여 석사과정을 우수한 성적으로 졸업하였다. 

 국내에서는 음연, 난파, 음악교육신문사, 성신여대 음악콩쿠르, 신예음악콩쿠르 등 다수의 콩쿠르에서 1위 및 입상하며 입지를 다졌으며, 국제무대에서도 오사카 국제 음악 콩쿠르에서 특별상을, France Music Competition에서 1위를 수상하는 등 뛰어난 성과를 거두었다. 실내악 및 현대음악 분야에서도 활발히 활동하고 있다. 서울대학교 국제 실내악 캠프에 참가해 마스터클래스와 연주를 진행했으며, CNSMDP 재학 중에는 현대음악 앙상블(바이올린 듀오) 부문에서 만장일치 1등을 수상하였다. 또한 벨기에 IMUSE 국제 페스티벌에 참가하여 연주를 펼치며 국제적인 음악 경험을 쌓았다. 

연주 활동 또한 폭넓다. DMZ 국제음악제 위너스 콘서트 및 릴레이 콘서트에서 모스틀리 오케스트라, 코레일 심포니 오케스트라와 협연하였고, ‘영감과 열정’ 시리즈에서는 영산아트홀 무대에 올랐다. 파리 필하모니 홀과 프랑스 국립도서관, 평창 대관령 음악제 페스티벌 오케스트라, 연세금호아트홀, IBK챔버홀 등 국내외 주요 무대에 섰으며, 바이올리니스트 김동현과 비발디 <사계>를 협연하기도 했다. 또한 한국메세나협회 연주, 왈츠와닥터만 300회 기념연주 등에 참여하며 다양한 관객과 소통하고 있다. 오케스트라 활동 면에서는 서울시립교향악단과 강릉시립교향악단의 객원 연주자로 참여했으며, 한경아르떼 필하모닉 정단원을 역임하고, 앙상블 유니송, 오케스트라 디오리지널, 필하모니 코리아, OES 등 여러 앙상블과 오케스트라에서 활발히 활동하며 폭넓은 음악적 행보를 이어가고 있다.

Violinist Ju-Yeon Park was selected as a first-generation Woongjin Foundation scholarship recipient and recognized as a gifted young artist by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Art Camp program. 

She studied at Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School before earning her Bachelor's degree from Seoul National University’s College of Music. She was then unanimously accepted into the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where she completed her Master's degree with distinction. Park has won top prizes in numerous domestic competitions, including the Eumyeon, Nanpa, Music Education News, Sungshin Women's University, and New Artist Music Competitions. On the international stage, she was awarded a Special Prize at the Osaka International Music Competition and won First Prize at the France Music Competition. Her chamber music and contemporary music endeavors are equally noteworthy. She participated in the SNU International Chamber Music Camp, engaging in both masterclasses and performances. While studying at CNSMDP, she won First Prize with unanimous acclaim in the contemporary music ensemble category (violin duo). She also took part in the IMUSE International Festival in Belgium, further expanding her global performance experience. Park has appeared in a wide range of concert settings. 

She performed in the Winners Concert and Relay 

Concert of the DMZ International Music Festival with the Mostly Philharmonic Orchestra and KORAIL Symphony Orchestra. She has also appeared as a soloist in the "Inspiration and Passion" concert series at the Youngsan Art Hall. Internationally, she has performed at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Bibliothèque nationale de France. In Korea, she has played with the PyeongChang Daegwallyeong Music Festival Orchestra and performed at prestigious venues such as the Yonsei Kumho Art Hall and IBK Chamber Hall. Her notable collaborations include a performance of The Four Seasons with violinist Donghyun Kim at IBK Chamber Hall. Additional performances include engagements with the Korea Mecenat Association and the 300th anniversary concert of Walz & Dr. Mahn. As an orchestral musician, Park has performed as a guest with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Gangneung Philharmonic Orchestra, And Hankyung ARTE Philparmonic Orchestra. She is also an active member of several ensembles, including Ensemble Unison, Orchestra The Original, Philharmonie Korea, and OES, consistently showcasing her artistry across a diverse musical spectrum.
