Received a Doctoral degree from Stony Brook University, State University of New York. 

Has appeared as a soloist and recitalist in numerous performances, including at Lincoln Center and Alice Tully Hall in New York, Carnegie Hall, the Seoul Arts Center Young Artists Concert Series, and the Seoul Arts Center Orchestra Festival, as well as with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra, Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Eurasian Philharmonic Orchestra, Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra, and many others.

Former Principal Flutist of the KBS Symphony Orchestra. 

Currently Professor at the College of Music, Pusan National University; Music Director of Korea Flute Soloists; member of the Sejong Woodwind Ensemble and Seoul Modern Ensemble; and member of the Organizing Committee of the Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival.
