피아니스트 김경애는 작곡가인 아버지의 영향으로 일찍이 피아노와 바이올린 레슨을 받았다. 파리국립고등음악원 피아노과를 만장일치로 수석 졸업하였으며 실내악과, 옹드 마르뜨노과, 실내악과 연주자과정을 졸업, 에꼴 노르말에서 연주자 과정을 졸업하였다. 파리국립음악원에서 d'Yvonne LORIOD-MESSIAEN, Jean HUBEAU, Christian LARDE, Jeanne LORIOD, Christian MANEN, et Germaine MOUNIER 에게 피아노와 옹드 마르뜨노, 실내악을 사사하였다. 

렌시국립음악원, 보르도국립음악원의 피아노과 교수, 세르지퐁뜨와즈 국립음악원에 교수를 역임하였다.

피아니스트겸 옹드 마르뜨노 주자로서 비엔나심포니오케스트라, 보스톤심포니오케스트라, 베를린필하모닉오케스트라 등과 활발한 연주활동을 펼치고 있다. 

Pianist Kim Kyung-Ae took piano and violin lessons early on her life due to her father, being a composer. She graduated first in class from the department of piano at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris(CNSMDP), graduated from the Department of Chamber Music, ondes martenot, and the Department of Chamber Music, and also graduated from Ecole Normale. At the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, she studied piano, ondes martenot, and chamber music udner d'Yvonne LORIOD-MESSIAEN, Jean HUBEAU, Christian LARDE, Jeanne LORIOD, Christian MANEN, et Germaine MOUNIER.

She was a professor of piano at the Renzi National Conservatory of Music, Bordeaux National Conservatory of Music, and a professor at the Cergy-Pontoise National Conservatory of Music.

As a pianist and ondes martenot performer she is actively performing with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
