손리 초이는 Lamar Crowson, Louis Hiltbrand and Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli를 사사하며, 런던 왕립음악대학과 제네바 음악대학을 졸업하 고 Premiere Prix de Virtuosite를 수상했다.

그는 Maxim Shostakovich, Richard Austin and Yoshikazu Fukumura 등의 지휘자들과 협연해왔으며, 스위스 로망드 관현악단, 프라하 챔버 오케 스트라, 중국 중앙 필하모닉 오케스트라에서 솔리스트로서 두각을 나타내었고, 피츠버그 아시안 음악제, 토농 음악제, 스위스 바흐 페스티벌, 홍콩 예술 제에 참여했다.

뉴욕 피날트 국제 피아노 콩쿠르의 최우수 수상자인 그는 리즈 국제 피아노 콩쿠르와 Animato Paris, 스크리아빈, 비제우, 독일 오픈 컴페티션, 하트퍼 드 쇼팽, 한국-아시아 피아노 오픈 컴페티션의 심사위원으로 위촉되었다. 천진음악대학과 사천음악대학의 명예교수이자, 광저우의 대련음악학교와 마카오 폴리테크닉학교의 외래교수로 있는 손리 초이는 홍콩 피아노 음악협회, 마카오 피아노협회, 홍콩 실내악 협회의 회장을 맡고있으며 DMZ국제음악제 조직위원으로 활동 중에 있다.

Sown-Le Choi studied under Lamar Crowson, Louis Hiltbrand and Arturo Benedetti Michelangelo, and graduated from the London Royal College of Music and the Geneva School of Music, and won the Premiere Prix de Virtuosite.

He has collaborated with conductors such as Maxim Shostakovich, Richard Austin and Yoshikazu Fukumura, and has distinguished himself as a soloist with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Prague Chamber Orchestra, and China Central Philharmonic Orchestra and participated in the Pittsburgh Asian Music Festival, the Tonong Music Festival, the Swiss Bach Festival, and the Hong Kong Arts Festival.

He came in 1st place at the New York Pinault International Piano Competition, and was appointed a judge of the Leeds International Piano Competition and the Animato Paris, Scriabin, Viseu, German Open Competition, Hartford Chopin, and Korea-Asia Piano Open Competition. Currently he is an honorary professor at Tianjin University of Music and Sichuan University of Music, and foreign professor at Dalian School of Music and Macau Polytechnic School in Guangzhou, and is the chairman of the Hong Kong Piano Association, Macau Piano Association and Hong Kong Chamber Music Association.
