바이올리니스트 태선이는 예원학교를 실기우수로 졸업하고, 한국예술종합학교 예비학교를 수료한 후, 서울예술고등학교 재학 중 독일 한스 아이슬러 음악대학에 입학하였다. 이후 독일 바이마르 국립음대에서 석사과정과 최고연주자과정(Konzertexamen)을 졸업하며 전문 연주자로서의 기반을 다졌다. 

 그녀는 베를린 필하모니 홀, 불가리아 바르나 국제 음악제, 이탈리아 오르비에또 섬머 페스티벌, 체코 베토벤 페스티벌 등 세계 유수의 무대에서 초청 리사이틀을 가졌으며, 독일 5개 도시, 이탈리아 4개 도시, 중국 4개 도시에서도 초청 협연을 펼쳤다. 국내외 주요 오케스트라와의 협연 이력도 풍부하며, 서울시립교향악단, 인천시립교향악단, KBS교향악단, KCO(금호챔버오케스트라), 북체코 필하모니, 센다이 필하모닉, 루세 필하모닉 등과 함께 무대에 섰다. 

 국제 콩쿠르에서도 두각을 나타내어 안드레아 포스타치니 국제 콩쿠르 1위 및 특별상, 이폴리토프 이바노프 국제 콩쿠르 1위, 야샤 하이페츠 국제 콩쿠르 3위, 카네티 국제 콩쿠르 3위 및 특별상 등을 수상했으며, 국내에서는 KBS 신인음악콩쿠르 은상, 이화경향콩쿠르 1위 없는 2위를 수상하며 뛰어난 실력을 인정받았다. 

 그녀는 레퍼토리에서도 깊은 음악성을 보여주고 있으며, 2018년 바흐 무반주 소나타와 파르티타 전곡 연주, 2019년 브람스 소나타 전곡 연주, 2020년 이자이 & 힌데미트 무반주소나타 시리즈, 2021년 슈만 소나타 전곡 연주, 2023년 베토벤 소나타 전곡 연주, 그리고 2025년에는 슈베르트 작품 전곡 연주를 예정하고 있다. 

 현재 대전시립교향악단 제2악장으로 활동 중이며, POS 트리오 멤버, 대한적십자사 홍보대사로도 활약하고 있습니다. 또한 중앙대학교, 예원학교, 서울예고, 경기예고에 출강하며 후학 양성에도 힘쓰고 있다. 

Violinist Sunny Tae graduated with honors from Yewon School and completed the preparatory program at the Korea National University of Arts. While attending Seoul Arts High School, she was accepted into the prestigious Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin. She later earned both her Master’s degree and Konzertexamen (highest performance diploma) from the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar, establishing a strong foundation as a professional performer. 

 She has given invited recitals at some of the world’s leading venues and festivals, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Varna International Music Festival in Bulgaria, Orvieto Summer Festival in Italy, and the Beethoven Festival in the Czech Republic. She has also appeared as a soloist in five cities across Germany, four cities in Italy, and four cities in China. Her extensive collaboration with major orchestras includes performances with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, KCO (Kumho Chamber Orchestra), North Czech Philharmonic, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, and Ruse Philharmonic, among others. 

 She has garnered recognition at numerous international competitions, winning First Prize and a Special Prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition, First Prize at the Ippolitov-Ivanov International Competition, Third Prize at the Jascha Heifetz International Competition, and Third Prize and a Special Prize at the Canetti International Competition. In Korea, she received the Silver Prize at the KBS New Musician Competition and Second Prize (with no first prize awarded) at the Ewha-Kyungyang Competition, further affirming her exceptional talent. Her deep musicality is also reflected in her wide-ranging repertoire. She has presented the following complete series: 2018: Bach’s Solo Sonatas and Partitas / 2019: Complete Brahms Sonatas / 2020: Ysaÿe & Hindemith Solo Sonata Series  / 2021: Complete Schumann Sonatas / 2023: Complete Beethoven Sonatas / 2025 (planned): Complete Works of Schubert.

Currently, she serves as Associate Concertmaster of the Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra, is a member of the POS Trio, and acts as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Korean Red Cross. She is also dedicated to education, teaching at Chung-Ang University, Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Gyeonggi Arts High School.
